I went to Kamasutra Club on Sunday with a buddy of mine. It was not a fun time. The dance floor was practically deserted. We got there around 11pm and for nearly 20 minutes, not a single girl got up to dance. Guys, do not waste your time... there is little to no entertainment here.

Where to even begin? Yeah, this spot will definitely squeeze every penny out of you. You end up tipping the sleazy Guido security guy. Its beyond me why they charge women for entry here. We did have a good time but geez, the dancers could do with a little more food. Strippers in Vancouver at least have some curves. It was quite a spectacle, I must admit. Its a strip joint and yes, it comes with a price tag

Alright, so here's the rundown on the Kamasutra Club:
First off, don't forget your ID. You're looking at a $7 cover charge, then a $5 tip for the bouncer. On top of that, you're expected to buy a drink, which will run you between $10 and $20. And yes, you have to tip the bartender too, at least 15%. So, just to walk in the door, you're down about $25.

Then there's the matter of tipping the dancers. They only take Canadian dollars and the minimum tip is $5, so keep that in mind. You'll need to bring cash or be prepared to hit the ATM inside.

One thing to note is that the club isn't usually packed, which means the dancers are a bit more insistent about doing private dances.

But on the bright side, the dancers are friendly and attractive, so no complaints there.

This is the most terrible strip club I've ever visited. The cover charge of $7 is acceptable, but the doorman INSISTS on a gratuity of at least $5 on top of the cover charge, otherwise, he will not allow you to enter. I attempted to sit near the stage, only to be informed that I must give an additional $5 tip to the doorman to be permitted to sit there. I've never been asked to pay extra to sit in a non-private area in a club before. He also mentioned that if I sat at the stage, I would be obligated to purchase a new drink every 20 minutes.
Absurd!
They even incorporate their tips into their drink prices (a $9 jager becomes $12.75 before you even pay)
I would recommend avoiding this club unless you have absolutely no other options.
It's a shame because I was considering returning tomorrow for some dances.
