I felt compelled to pen down my first review following my visit to The Camelot Showbar Strip Club. To give you an overview, the manager on duty, a petite lady, was exceedingly unprofessional and should either be moved to a different role or dismissed altogether.
Starting from the entrance, the door staff and security were top-notch, extending courtesies, helping me with the door and guiding me to my table. I was on a weekend trip to DC and their friendliness was much appreciated. The dancers can be quite forward, but as long as you know how to handle it, it is not necessarily a negative. On the bright side, the ladies are stunning. The club has a rule that you must buy a drink for any dancer who sits with you if you want them to stay. I was quite active that night, buying a few drinks for myself and others. There is also a peculiar house rule that dancers are not allowed to dance off the stage. My dancer was scolded by the manager multiple times for dancing at our table and seat, which spoiled a lot of my experience. After a while at my table, I was informed that the table was required for new guests who had just arrived. There were several other vacant tables which made me wonder why I was being relocated. I am not a confrontational person, and I understand that sometimes business takes precedence, so I vacated the table for the new guests and moved to the bar to buy another drink. The dancer I was chatting with accompanied me to the table, as we had gotten along quite well that night and she was admittedly making a fair bit of money from me.
About 20 minutes at the bar, one of the security personnel approached the bartender and inquired if I had a drink. The bartender confirmed that I did and the security relayed that the manager wanted me out, but could not explain why. I asked what the problem was and the security stated they had no idea, as I had not caused any trouble all night. The manager, a short woman with black hair, was incredibly unprofessional, spoiling the experience for me and several others who had dancers with them at their seats. Moreover, being asked to leave the venue while still actively buying drinks without any explanation or issue is a problem. The manager should be either dismissed or reassigned. I commend the professionalism shown by the security and the dancers, but my rating is 2 stars due to the manager.

Visited for an early Sunday brunch. The staff were very inviting, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. There were no dancers due to the early hour, but it was still a very pleasant dining experience. I found out about this place from a Washington post article and just had to give it a try. I will surely be going back!

My wife and I had an average experience. The strip joint was empty, no one was dancing on any of the stages. The waitress who attended to us got mad when we handed her 40 dollars and asked for change (obviously we were going to tip) but not 16 dollars (we only ordered two drinks).
The strippers have full contact, and they were clear that it was 20 dollars/song which we were okay with. After two songs, they demanded 200 dollars from us. After a short conversation, they agreed that their demand was absurd and they were bad at math, so we settled the bill and left.
Be vigilant with your cash here as they seem to try to scam you at every opportunity. Be cautious.
I have been to other clubs in the area with my wife and those were far better experiences. Avoid this place, look for somewhere else to go.
I am giving two stars because one of the strippers was really sweet, and she supported us during this ordeal.
Also, I had the opportunity to go for a private dance upstairs with an attractive and charming blonde, which was an amazing experience. Lolo, the gorgeous bartender, was extremely attentive and welcoming. She ensured that I always had a drink in my hand and was wonderful to converse with while I enjoyed the show. She handled the bar with remarkable efficiency and displayed a brilliant personality.
Without a doubt, I will revisit Club Wanda's the next time I find myself in town.
