During weekdays, the club is not as crowded as on Saturdays, but it is never empty, and you can still have a good time. If you prefer a crowd, Saturdays are all about couples. If you visit from Monday to Thursday, expect to see around 15-20 guys trying to socialize. If you feel uncomfortable, you can retreat to the exclusive couples area, which is quite spacious. Most people are respectful, but be prepared for some to approach you quite closely. If this is not to your liking, consider visiting on a Friday or Saturday, or simply stay within the couples area. It is as simple as that. You are in control at all times.
The average age of visitors is between 35-50 years. You will see a mix of people, from fit individuals to those with beer bellies, just like on any beach.
Recently, we have heard complaints about the smell of tobacco smoke. This was not an issue before, but now it seems to be a problem. Even if you are not in the smoking area, the smell of smoke permeates the entire place, which can be quite bothersome. This is not something we have experienced in other establishments. The measures to contain the smell in a designated area are evidently not effective.
The cleanliness of the place is satisfactory and the staff is unobtrusive, making an effort not to disturb couples unnecessarily. The bar staff is friendly and the drinks are standard. Do not expect to find exotic cocktails, after all, you are not here to sample gin and tonics.
The club also has a small pool, which is seldom used, except maybe during the summer. It does not appear to be in high demand.
There are numerous rooms with glory holes, which are visually appealing but a bit too "exposed". Perhaps fewer holes and dimmer lighting would make the experience less intimidating. Instead of glory holes, they resemble exhibition rooms. What this place could use is a more intimate and especially more anonymous glory hole, like those found in other venues.
The couples area has a dark room, which is rather small. I understand the lack of furniture, but a small support like the one in the other dark room would make it more comfortable. The absence of something to lean on limits the possibilities.
Despite some room for improvement, I would recommend this place. It is quite good and ranks among the best in Madrid.
