Though it is showing its age, the staff remains cordial...and it is oddly vacant during the later hours of weekend evenings, primarily occupied by an older clientele.

Stargayte is a place I enjoy frequenting. It has a unique style and music inspired by the 80s and 90s. While some people might consider this as a downside, I personally find it very refreshing. The staff is quite open-minded and hospitable. In fact, I have become so familiar with them that I know all their names after just three visits. The sauna and its surrounding areas are always kept clean. On Sundays, the customers are usually young and come from diverse backgrounds. The fries served here are particularly impressive, both in terms of cost and flavor.

Whenever I have the opportunity, I love visiting Stargayte.
Its style might be considered a bit "80s" or "retro", but in my opinion, it has a certain charm and authenticity. If you plan on staying longer, I would recommend visiting Cocks late at night.
The admission price is quite reasonable when compared to other saunas.
I am especially fond of the newly constructed Finnish sauna, the infrared sauna, and the whirlpool.
The staff is extremely friendly, a sentiment I share with other reviewers.
One minor suggestion for improvement:
The shower area and the passage area near the steam room can get quite slippery at times. Perhaps there could be a way to address this issue?
Additional pros:
The place is overall clean and well kept.
The outside area is attractively designed.

Absolutely fantastic people. This is the top sauna I have had the pleasure of visiting. I have been to quite a few. They offer excellent infusions here. There are comfortable spots for solitude. Always deserving of 5 stars.

We made a trip to Stargayte Leipzig on the 23rd of March, 2024. Initially, we were welcomed and attended to by a very courteous and attentive staff member. However, our initial excitement swiftly turned into frustration and anger! The cost at this antiquated venue was completely unreasonable and unacceptable for the services provided. The ambiance was reminiscent of the 80s, and the stench in the showers was simply revolting, it had more of a rundown railway station restroom vibe! It became impossible for us to relax and enjoy ourselves! To add to the disappointment, we were appalled to find out that there were no sauna infusions available after 8 p.m., especially considering the exorbitant prices! The restaurant operates until 3:00 a.m. This experience left us feeling deeply dissatisfied and furious! It is totally unacceptable to have age-based pricing - this is discriminatory and blatant profiteering! On top of that, we belong to the younger customer demographic. We definitely would not recommend Stargayte Leipzig! If it were not for the friendly service staff, I would have given it no stars at all!
