After a decade, I found myself returning to Saphir and I must say, I was genuinely taken aback by the improvements they had made to the club during the Corona period. The exterior might not be much to look at...but the interior is truly impressive! I was absolutely thrilled...The quality of the food was top-notch, the facilities were excellent...and I can assure you...I will definitely be visiting again!

This was our second visit to the Swingers & Couples Club Saphir. It is definitely worth recommending. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the drinks and food are exceptional.

I was taken aback! Around 9:45 p.m., the bread basket was empty. I mustered the courage to ask for more bread at the open kitchen door with the empty basket.

Firstly, I was told off for knocking on the kitchen door. Secondly, I was scolded for stepping more than 10 cm into the kitchen.

By 10 p.m., while we were dining, the owner gave me a real dressing down. He told me not to enter the kitchen or knock on the door. He even said, "You wont starve" and asked me not to bother his wife who was in the kitchen.

We paid €200 to eat red cabbage and dumplings with sauce! The quality of the food did not match the steep entry price.

In my 33 years of dining at various places, both locally and internationally, I have never been treated so poorly by any kitchen staff or owner. An apology from the owner would have been appropriate. Instead, I was further berated.

Also, by 9:40 p.m., both the roulade and ox cheeks were finished. We had to share the last piece of ribs. By 9:50 p.m., we had to share the last piece of fish. The food was scarce and the service was rude. I have never experienced such poor hospitality from any event organizer.

On another note, they set off repetitive fireworks for about 10 minutes. A shorter, 3-minute display would have been sufficient. A 7-minute show, like the one a few years ago with a crystal ball, would have been more enjoyable and environmentally friendly.

A decade ago, they served real champagne at midnight, but now they only serve sparkling wine.

The only redeeming factors were the DJ, despite his inability to fulfill several music requests, the three friendly bars, and the extravagantly dressed guests.

It is unfortunate that the rude behavior of the owner and his wife ruined the New Year's Eve party.

My girlfriend and I went to this club for a couples and single men event. We felt overwhelmed by the crowd at times, it seemed like there were more people than the club could hold. After waiting for half an hour, we finally got a table to eat. The location of the sauna and hot tub was not ideal, it felt like we were on display in a shopping mall window. Even as we were there, dressed men and couples continued to walk around, waiting for something to happen. The upper area was still crowded, with a small room only accommodating two couples. The places that were free were in disarray, with used protection, paper napkins and so on not cleaned up. Despite these issues, this club is still worth checking out.

The club Saphir does not always have someone at the door, which means you might end up waiting outside for an hour, even in the rain. Furthermore, there seems to be an issue with the prepayment system. It is unfortunate that they do not accept EC cards for payment. The system for storing personal items is also outdated, like something from the last century, just a loose bowl.

By 10:30 pm, they have already run out of ice cream, which is a problem if you want cocktails. However, the staff and the kitchen are excellent. I have to say, I am not the type to ask if I can get in. I expect more for my money, this is a lower standard for me (like something from the 20th century), yet the prices are high.

Those who know me are aware of my opinion on Saphir and I would not recommend it. The fact that I do not go to Saphir anymore means that I have high expectations for quality. I was banned from the establishment simply because I expressed my honest opinion about your club/pub.
