I have been a regular at WET since 2021 and the atmosphere there is simply amazing. The staff at the reception are always welcoming, courteous, and make you feel at home. I have never had any trouble with parking, which is definitely a big advantage. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna facilities are all superb, and most of the time, you end up meeting some really nice and friendly people there. Of course, you might bump into someone who is not as friendly, but that has nothing to do with the venue itself. I ensure that I visit at least once every two months, and I have even made some good friends there. I would strongly suggest WET, particularly if you are new to the city and looking to make new acquaintances.

Wet Spa & Sauna is the only one in Brisbane with a pool, actually its the only one at all. But, it is quite old and not so clean. Since there is no other sauna in town, they do not seem to be motivated to keep it neat. The walls are shaky and seem ready to collapse, and the doors do not even lock properly. Is it really that hard to fix door knobs?

The worst part though is the lack of cleanliness and sanitary conditions.

There are no wet wipes in the rooms, and often there is not even any paper towel, let alone any spray to clean the bed yourself. It would be so easy to place a wet wipe dispenser in there, just like every gym does now! Rooms are often left dirty for hours during busy times because they are always full. They only get a quick wipe down of the bed, but the floors stay slippery, slimy and dirty.

They often run out of clean towels so you cannot even wash up properly. That is, if the soap dispensers in the showers and toilets have been refilled at all.

And the toilets, they seem to NEVER get cleaned. They smell bad and you will be stepping in waste, not to mention what is left on the seat. Public restrooms would be cleaner, and the staff does not seem to care at all.

Wet does its job if you are okay with unsanitary conditions, but it really needs a renovation and a deep cleaning.

My advice is to visit with a group, it can be quite intimidating to go solo. I once went by myself and had an uncomfortable encounter with some of the older gentlemen there (I mean those with grey to white hair). However, when I was strolling around in my pup hood, there were a few who showed interest and one even asked to pat me on the head, which I did not mind. I make it a habit to revise this review after each visit to the spa.

My first visit was excellent, even better than my experience at the one in Sydney. However, I have a small request. Could you please display "No means No!" signs at almost every corner? It is somewhat bothersome when, even after I have clearly said "no", some guys continue to be insistent...

I cant believe I paid $30 for that, seriously. It was so uncomfortable, the place was filthy. Used condoms were left in the showers, there was semen on the floors and dirty, used paper towels everywhere. The whole place just reeked of sewage.

Even the swimming pool was dirty, with used condoms floating in it. There were even fights breaking out in the dark rooms. I swear, I will never be returning to that place again.
