Jumbos Clown Room was once my top spot. Let me emphasize, ONCE. This evening, they insisted on holding onto my credit card and drivers license and wouldn't return them. They claimed it's their policy to retain a drivers license while a tab is open. I am not going to tolerate that and I am not returning. I won't accept being a patron who is disrespected.

I spent my time working at Jumbos during the early 80s, from when I was 21 until I was 38, on and off. The earnings were amazing. The place had a local pub vibe, with all the customers getting along despite the vast differences among them. The girls were still able to rake in a good income. It was also the most fun and crowded go-go bar in the area. They would only have 6 to 8 girls scheduled per night. Hi there, Karen. I am not sure if they are still offering $5.00 per hour. It was the only club that paid us instead of us paying them. Such great memories, they make me feel a bit melancholic.
