There is a consistent bias shown to certain customers, providing them with special treatment.
Despite its label as a "gay bar" and the promise of an inclusive environment, it seems to favor certain demographics over others.
Most of the staff are quite pleasant though... It is just unfortunate how it is managed.

Our trip to Worcester for the New Year celebration was a three-night affair, and we were especially excited about spending NYE at The Flag. Upon our arrival, the highly welcoming doorman handed us both party hats, with the party already in high gear. We had such a blast that night! The ambiance was top-notch, the music was spot on featuring all the major anthems, and the place was just buzzing with energy. When the countdown to midnight began, they served free Prosecco, a gesture we found extremely generous. Our night was nothing short of amazing and I bet we will be discovering glitter in our underwear for the following week haha! A big thank you to everyone for their hard work in organizing such a wonderful night - we truly appreciated it. Mark. x

My personal experience at The Flag Worcester was on a regular weekday. I got served by the staff without any issues. There was no live entertainment happening at that moment. The security person was quite amiable. After spending some time, I observed a young guy being evicted. He was clearly inebriated. What people often overlook is that The Flag operates much later than most other bars. You never feel threatened at any point while you are there but reading some of the negative reviews makes me question if the issue was really with The Flag. It is the individuals who should take the hint and head home once most bars are closed.

Fantastic spot. Staff are wonderfully welcoming, considerate, and humorous, possessing a great sense of humor. The drinks are affordable, and the patrons are positive and friendly. The alcohol is inexpensive, and there are great deals on beverages. The bouncers are pleasant. I have visited a couple of times now, and I truly feel comfortable here. I will be returning again shortly, thank you.

We visited The Flag Worcester for the first time on New Year’s Eve and thoroughly enjoyed the night. The staff was extremely warm, amicable, and diligent. The crowd was just perfect, not too many, not too few. The Prosecco they served was delightful.

Our first experience in Worcester was made memorable thanks to our celebration at The Flag. We were truly pleased with our decision to spend the night there.
