The folks working there are absolutely top-notch and the regulars who frequent are really respectful. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try.

This was my second visit to Shhh Newcastle Swingers. My first experience here was not an issue, but my second visit, which was just last night with my friends, was a different story. One of my friends accidentally left his underwear near the hot tub. Since I was a bit intoxicated, I did not notice this. I believe it was the manager who came storming towards me, scolding me for the mishap, which I was not responsible for, and she displayed a severe attitude. I expressed my apologies for the confusion, but I think the situation could have been handled in a much better manner by the person who confronted me. I do not like confrontations, especially not from a blonde woman.
Apart from this incident, I had a great time and I am looking forward to returning with my friends.

The venue is just okay, could use some upgrades. The lower level is freezing, not suitable for hanging out during winter as they lack heating. The bar setup is odd, when I asked for a coke, they grabbed a can from the fridge then poured it from the side of the bar. The coke tasted flat, not like it came from a can, so I suspect they might be serving it from a larger bottle and keeping the cans. My friend got a bottle of water, but the cap was already off and it tasted like tap water to her. When it was time to pay, they just told me the total and I paid, but they charged me for the wrong drinks. I did not make a fuss, just paid and left. I would not be in a hurry to return to this place.

Great spot, visited for the first time tonight and the management were really welcoming. They have a well filled bar and great tunes, not to mention top-notch facilities like the sauna and jacuzzi. Definitely planning to return as it is so convenient to get to and for getting home. Had a chat with Colin from North shields, he was talking to the management at the end.
