The Royal Palace is likely my top choice for strip clubs around here. It is tough finding a good strip club these days, but this one outshines all the others in this vicinity. The ambiance is decent, the female performers are okay, but the real star of the show is the buffalo chicken wings. They are just out of this world! I have been having them every night for the past 2 weeks and they never disappoint.
A few nights ago, I was enjoying my wings and the performances when an attractive lady came over. She was likely in her mid 30s, with blonde hair, ample bust, easily the most attractive woman in the club. We got to talking and one thing led to another, a couple of drinks were shared, and before I knew it, it was 9:30 in the morning and she was in my bed. I had to ask her to leave soon after as I was down with a common cold, complete with a cough, congestion, stuffy nose, and a burning sensation when I urinated, the whole shebang. All in all, a fantastic club, I will definitely be back once I am back in the pink of health and I highly recommend you check it out if you are in town.

I felt compelled to pen down my first review following my visit to The Camelot Showbar Strip Club. To give you an overview, the manager on duty, a petite lady, was exceedingly unprofessional and should either be moved to a different role or dismissed altogether.
Starting from the entrance, the door staff and security were top-notch, extending courtesies, helping me with the door and guiding me to my table. I was on a weekend trip to DC and their friendliness was much appreciated. The dancers can be quite forward, but as long as you know how to handle it, it is not necessarily a negative. On the bright side, the ladies are stunning. The club has a rule that you must buy a drink for any dancer who sits with you if you want them to stay. I was quite active that night, buying a few drinks for myself and others. There is also a peculiar house rule that dancers are not allowed to dance off the stage. My dancer was scolded by the manager multiple times for dancing at our table and seat, which spoiled a lot of my experience. After a while at my table, I was informed that the table was required for new guests who had just arrived. There were several other vacant tables which made me wonder why I was being relocated. I am not a confrontational person, and I understand that sometimes business takes precedence, so I vacated the table for the new guests and moved to the bar to buy another drink. The dancer I was chatting with accompanied me to the table, as we had gotten along quite well that night and she was admittedly making a fair bit of money from me.
About 20 minutes at the bar, one of the security personnel approached the bartender and inquired if I had a drink. The bartender confirmed that I did and the security relayed that the manager wanted me out, but could not explain why. I asked what the problem was and the security stated they had no idea, as I had not caused any trouble all night. The manager, a short woman with black hair, was incredibly unprofessional, spoiling the experience for me and several others who had dancers with them at their seats. Moreover, being asked to leave the venue while still actively buying drinks without any explanation or issue is a problem. The manager should be either dismissed or reassigned. I commend the professionalism shown by the security and the dancers, but my rating is 2 stars due to the manager.

Visited for an early Sunday brunch. The staff were very inviting, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. There were no dancers due to the early hour, but it was still a very pleasant dining experience. I found out about this place from a Washington post article and just had to give it a try. I will surely be going back!

1) Their social media presence is lacking: I tried reaching out to them via Instagram for a certain query, but got no response. Also, the mobile number listed on Google seems to be unresponsive to both calls and texts.
2) Two of the three door staff, Tom and Alex, are very professional and friendly. It would be great if the third person was also like them.
3) There are quite a few girls working there who come off as grumpy, sullen and impolite.
4) Considering a £10 entry fee, there should be more pole dancing.
5) They do not offer any membership options.
However, there are some positives too:
1) As mentioned earlier, two of the door staff are quite professional and friendly.
2) Some of the girls are amiable and can stay off their phone for more than a few moments.
3) The upper floor seems to be managed well, catering specifically to women.
Overall, it is not bad but has the potential to be fantastic. I cannot help but feel that with their new venue opening soon on Newhall St, the focus has slightly shifted from the current establishment.
I walked in and a girl wanted £160 for a VIP dance. Complete insanity. So, I simply walked out.
