I visited Night Bird on the evening of Thursday, July 10, 2024. It was a pleasant club experience, this was my initial impression as I exited the establishment after spending a substantial CHF 1800 solely on champagne which we graciously shared with our accommodating hosts.

However, a disappointing incident occurred. My custom-made $400 sunglasses that were specifically adjusted for my eyesight went missing after I carelessly left them on our table. I was there with two of my friends.

The following night, I returned to the club to inquire about my lost sunglasses, a stylish black pair from Tom Ford. I was informed by a staff member that it is not their responsibility to clear the tables of bottles, glasses and other items after the club closes. This task apparently falls to the housekeeping staff, who interestingly, was the wife of the club owner.

Therefore, based on the information given by the staff, it seems likely that my sunglasses were taken by either the wife of Gilbert Gisler or Daniel Meier.

It struck me as odd that the cleaning staff would be tasked with removing personal belongings left on tables after the club has closed, but this was the explanation given to me by the bar team. (My sunglasses were positioned amongst the glasses and empty champagne bottles I had ordered).

In the end, my sunglasses were not the only thing I lost that night. I also contracted COVID 19 during my visit to Night Bird in Uster, which resulted in a week of illness.

In conclusion, while Night Bird does have its charm, one must be cautious of potential health risks and safeguard your belongings. Be mindful of who you interact with and always be aware of your surroundings.
