This vacation, one of the poorest experiences for couples was at 6y9 Local Liberal in Barcelona. Nothing, absolutely nothing for us there. Just boys pretending to be girls and smoke filling the air everywhere. No regard for anything or anyone. The place is on the downslide, brimming with ignorance and devoid of any glamor.

Had a terrible time, the waitstaff are transsexuals and they seem to disregard straight patrons. They seem to prefer more masculine men and it made me and my partner feel unwelcome. The place is mostly filled with trans and single men. It was a waste of my time and energy. My suggestion would be to replace the staff with women. Thumbs down, thumbs down, thumbs down. I felt sick.

As a liberal pair, we revisited the club recently and were shocked to discover the same man behind the bar who had previously permitted verbal abuse (transphobic slurs and derogatory remarks) towards two beautiful transgender women by some patrons. One of the women attempted to escort them out to avoid further conflict, but the manager shockingly sided with the offenders, responding with laughter. It baffles us how such an incident could occur in a place that should be a safe haven for all genders.

Nonetheless, we had the pleasure of seeing Sandra, the waitress, once again. She not only chooses music that is utterly transporting but also captivates us with her spontaneous monologues. Her smile and grace are truly enchanting, drawing us back despite the numerous shortcomings of the establishment, which remains in a pitiful state. We will always return for the enchanting presence of this magical individual.
