My interactions with Singa Studios began quite pleasantly via WhatsApp, with the conversation flowing smoothly and professionally. However, the massage experience I received was far from satisfactory, ranking as one of the poorest I have ever had.

I made it crystal clear from the start that I was unconcerned about who my masseuse was, as long as they were skilled and enthusiastic about their work. Unfortunately, the masseuse I was assigned was anything but. Her approach was lackluster and routine, and her skills in tantric massage were severely lacking. I have had the pleasure of experiencing several high-quality tantra massages, and the difference between those and the one I received at Singa Studios was stark. It was far from a satisfying experience.

My disappointment was further compounded when, after about 30 minutes, the masseuse excused herself for 5 minutes. She also suggested that we end the session early to avoid a rush for the showers. This was late on a Friday afternoon, and her suggestion carried the implication that she was eager to end her shift and leave. I was shocked by this.

To add insult to injury, the massage session was frequently disrupted by the sound of a doorbell ringing, mobile phone notifications from another room, and doors slamming. The environment was not conducive to relaxation or unwinding at all. The seedy feel of the location didn't help matters.

Fortunately, Cape Town has many other more professional service providers. I had much better experiences at House of Tantra and Massage on Main. As such, I would advise against visiting Singa Studios and instead suggest spending your time and money elsewhere.
