My encounter at Astra Night Club was far from satisfying due to the woman manager who seemed to be in command. Her demeanor was excessively harsh and unprofessional, making us feel unwelcome throughout our stay. I have traversed and operated in the industry in some of the most premier establishments, and this was nowhere near the standard of service one would anticipate. The entire staff appeared to manage situations poorly, devoid of basic politeness and professionalism. It is evident that they aim to be a top-notch place, but they are nowhere near it. Adding to the disappointment, the music was mediocre at best. I would certainly suggest considering another place on the island.

In my life, I have not come across such an experience. The doorman at the entrance was the most prejudiced individual I have ever met. He denied me entry without even hearing a word from me, as soon as I approached. He made a judgment based on my appearance and skin color, and stated that I could not enter because they were closing, even though it was only 2:00 am. Astra is reputed for its nightlife, yet they reject people based on their appearance. The club is not at all welcoming. Be ready to be judged by your attire and looks. There are other venues where you will not face such prejudice as you would in Astra.

We really had an awesome time! The music surrounds you, whether you are inside or outside
The crowd is fantastic and the DJs are off the charts
I would suggest it for a simple yet entertaining night in Mykonos town

My experience at Astra Night Club was the pits. The entrance guys are really racist. I was not even given a chance to say anything before they denied us entry. They claimed the gate was already closed, at 1am. This is not right. I would not recommend this place at all. If you are a person of color, brace yourself for discrimination based on your appearance. This is by far, the most racist encounter I have had in Mykonos.
