The elderly gentleman serving drinks was not at all friendly. When I went to purchase my second beverage, he began to warn me that I would be asked to leave the sauna shortly due to my alcohol consumption (it was only my second drink, I was absolutely not intoxicated)
The other man with facial hair was quite welcoming.

Hello there! I have visited Sauna Viva on two occasions. It is the most unattractive sauna I have ever seen in the world.

Personally, I find myself greatly let down by the VIVA Sauna. I have experience with a variety of saunas and honestly, VIVA strikes me as the most haphazardly constructed gay sauna I have ever encountered. I could not stay more than 15 minutes before I had to leave.

The place is riddled with at least 10 glaring indications of shoe and key theft. There is a pail in the restroom for disposing of used razor blades and needles. A sign in the steam bath warns against its misuse as a restroom. I consider myself lucky to have escaped unscathed and without being robbed.
I must say, the numerous signs are quite telling...
On the bright side, the staff at the reception are truly warm and welcoming.
On a side note regarding the shoe theft issue, as stated on the sign, it is advisable to "secure it in the locker" (the thief, not the shoe?).
