Hello Sven, it was a memorable night and everything went well as you assured. The only minor hiccup was my Schalke jersey, which I had to swap for a black piece of cloth. Nonetheless, it was still an amusing experience, cheers!

Mein erster Besuch in einem Swingerclub war bei Cats 2.0 und ich war durchaus positiv überrascht. Natürlich war es zu Beginn etwas ungewohnt, mich in den Räumlichkeiten zurechtzufinden, aber die anderen Gäste waren durchweg freundlich und entspannt. Auch das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Ich hätte mir allerdings mehr Räume gewünscht, in denen man sich als Paar zurückziehen kann. Das Essen bestand aus einer kleinen Auswahl an Salaten, Reis und ähnlichem.

We were buzzing with excitement to visit "Cats 2.0". I was familiar with the place and wanted to introduce it to my friend. We had to travel quite a distance to reach there, despite having popular clubs like St. Tropez much closer.

We spent a lot of time pondering over what to wear and changing outfits, my friend was particularly keen on adhering to the dress code.

Wow. What we discovered there left us in awe. It was a planned carnival party. Alright. Not exactly our cup of tea but there was no compulsion to dress up. However, it seemed like there was no dress code at all. So many guys in jeans and sneakers... I felt like I was under constant scrutiny. Why specify a dress code if it is not enforced?

The ambiance was a bit off too. The Cats had relocated and the new venue looked quite rundown. Very limited, uninspired "play areas" and hardly any space for some solitude.

A bit more transparency on the website would have been appreciated. Mentioning the changes could have set different expectations for us.

But we were genuinely frightened.

Such a shame.

Cats 2.0 Swingerclub is a truly splendid and meticulously maintained venue. The staff and patrons are extremely welcoming and hospitable, making it an excellent choice for those new to the scene. For the past three and a half years, we have been collaborating with Sven. The club even has a resident goat, and some of the faux leather mattress covers are our own contribution.
