My opinions are formed based on several visits to the villa as part of a pair, so this is not a single incident.
The villa itself is quite stylish, beautifully decorated and has undergone some recent renovations, making the place very appealing. The garden is pleasant, but the pool is somewhat small and not as well kept as it should be.
The clientele is varied, but they often seem more focused on the buffet and the included drinks than on the activities on the mats. On a Sunday afternoon, it felt more like we were at a tea party in the garden than at a swingers club. All the loungers were taken early on, Mallorca style, and were not freed up. The buffet was devoured and, disappointingly, despite promises, it was not restocked in the evening. The erotic atmosphere was non-existent. Last year was a different story, with plenty of action on Friday afternoons at the HÜ.
So why only one star? Well, because of the feedback we gave, we were essentially banned ;) The owners seem unable to accept criticism or use it as motivation to address issues and make improvements.
We decided to visit Villa Palazzo this Sunday, but unfortunately, we were not pleased at all. The villa is situated in the middle of an industrial area, right beside a shipping firm. The surroundings are not appealing in the least. There was absolutely no guest service, despite us informing them at the entrance that it was our first visit and we had never been to a club before. We had to rely on other guests to guide us around the rooms. The lack of private spaces was another issue. Everything is open and in plain sight, except for a single room that can be locked. It is a pity because the rooms are actually quite nice. The staff at the counter seemed to have no knowledge about different types of alcohol and were clearly struggling. I felt bad for them. Guests are permitted to take their coffee and cake to the outdoor lawns and enjoy a quiet meal, while others are having intimate moments right next to them. This is simply unacceptable!!!:((
The pool is small and unclean, much like the rest of the club.
Overall, our experience was so off-putting that we lost our appetite and left early. The advertisement for the villa claims “Here the guest is still king”! I believe kings would beg to differ!!!!
My email expressing our disappointment about our visit today was met with a block from Joy for the Villa Palazzo!!! Talk about customer service! Such a response to criticism is concerning. We certainly will not be returning!
