The owner could have been a lot more friendly... You ask for a drink, you wait, they serve and prioritize the regulars before you... And they give you a drink in a glass straight from the dishwasher, still hot.. The changing room is like a shack with zero privacy, I would not suggest it at all.
The club space is quite tight, especially the hallway and stairs. As a woman, I found myself uncomfortably surrounded by single men in this narrow passage, almost brushing against me due to the lack of space. I was grateful for my partner's presence as I felt uneasy with the stares and a particular inappropriate gesture. It was the first time I felt this way in a club, like a lamb among wolves. I know it's a strong comparison, but that's how it felt.
And then there's the issue of the "budget" decor, the worn-out equipment (they need to replace the mask with the loose elastic band, the handcuffs that don't scratch anymore...), and doors that don't close because of the room layout (the room with the swing)... The last straw was when the door to our private corner swung open even though we had shut it! Surely, respecting closed doors is a basic expectation... These series of letdowns made us leave the club feeling quite disappointed. We had never experienced anything like this in a libertine club before. One thing is for sure, we won't be visiting again when we are in the area.
