This place always offers a warm welcome.
The facilities are commendable, clean, and well kept.
However, the clientele leaves something to be desired. It is not the fault of the Metropolis, but where have all the true libertines disappeared to? There seems to be an influx of single men coming to fulfill their sexual desires, which is unfortunate.
> I miss the Sunday evening buffets, when will they make a comeback?
> I miss the bar stools too, could they be reintroduced? It was always more sociable to strike up a conversation at the bar while seated....

Revised on July 2, 2017: the improvements have indeed been made and the whistling noise is no more! It is just perfect now.
I wholeheartedly endorse the Metropolis, it is a delightful spot!!!
On our initial visit to this venue, we were greeted warmly and shown around. We spent a wonderful afternoon, it was quite entertaining, with numerous male advances. Yes, there were many single men, but I am not complaining, even if my partner is slightly more frustrated than I am! A special shoutout to the 8 p.m. buffet on Sunday evenings, where the bar turns into a lively and super friendly area. The regulars are endearing, always ready for a chat and a laugh, and the staff are no different! The premises are very clean. Our only complaint is the persistent whistling noise (perhaps from the jacuzzi compressor?) that can be heard almost everywhere; it can be a bit unnerving at times! Despite this, we will be back soon to enjoy ourselves all over again! Thank you for everything....

My first time at Sauna Club Métropole was yesterday evening when I was in Bordeaux. The owner gave me a warm greeting, went over the club's rules, and gave me a tour of the place. There are plenty of different areas, and the customers there were following the rules. I had a great time. I would recommend it.

evening to you, quite let down by this spot; cleanliness was not up to the mark. Also, after being there for 5 months, they denied me entry without giving a reason. Being a 53-year-old, respectable man, a gentleman I think, this was unexpected. Had a single, somewhat complex encounter with a regular... This is what they call favoritism. Honestly, if you are not one of the regulars, I suggest you steer clear.

I drove for an hour, feeling very let down when I arrived at Sauna Club Métropole with a couple of my libertine friends. We are regulars at some clubs and had been recommended to try out the metropolis. The boss at the entrance was not rude, but he did imply that we needed to be more accustomed to the place. I would like to ask him though, how can you get used to a place if you do not start off on the right foot? He also seemed to suggest that we should have come alone or as a couple.

The evening was a bit of a waste. I am giving two stars because I would like to give it another try with a regular and form a more informed opinion.
