Even with two lads ensuring safety, it didn't prevent single fellows from acting out.
The rates are reasonable, 10€ for alcohol, 6€ without alcohol, but 10€ for a 25cl Heinekken, that stings! Worth revisiting though.
As for the reception... well... a greeting and a grin from the cashier wouldn't go amiss, quite the opposite to the lady in the cloakroom who's always beaming. They might want to consider switching roles.
The tunes are enjoyable, the venue stays tidy for the most part, it's unfortunate that the gents don't discard their used condoms in the bins provided all over the club.

Our initial visit to Le Tantra was quite an experience. The decor is a bit on the gaudy side, but it adds to the charm. We mostly hung out on the ground floor as the top floor is exclusive for smokers and it doesn't have good air circulation. The music was enjoyable and even though the dance floor was not that big, it was just right for the crowd present.

The "cuddle corner" does not have any private rooms, however, it is well-maintained and the mattresses are cleaned frequently. The young lady in the changing room was very friendly, cheerful and took good care of our stuff. I want to extend my gratitude to the young blonde girl in the cuddle corner for her helpful explanations, her warm smile and her kind demeanor.

On the whole, the staff is competent, but the bar waitress needs a bit of improvement. It would be advisable to remind her that the €20 we paid for our drinks should go into the cash drawer and not her own pocket. Maybe if she smiled more, she would have gotten a tip. As business people, we found this to be unprofessional.

Regardless of this, we had a good time and we plan to return next year.

Our first night in Cape Town was also our first night at Le Tantra. We absolutely adored it. The ambiance, the tunes, it all was just perfect. We are definitely looking forward to coming back.

Le Tantra is a top-notch club for those who are driven and committed, don't believe in the negative feedback. We had three wonderful nights during our holiday week.
