The food is great, the beer is excellent, and the service is top-notch at MARGO Cafe. I highly recommend trying the honey beer, it's a must-try!

Perhaps our visit was ill-timed, but we found the place utterly deserted on a Wednesday night at 8. The staff seemed rather inattentive. Our cocktails took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive and they were not at all pleasing to the palate. We did not venture to try their food.

On a positive note, the ambiance was quite pleasing. The cafe is situated in a basement, adorned with vintage furniture and mirrors without reflections on the walls. A flat screen plays black and white silent movies, providing a backdrop to the soothing music playing in the background.

While our visit was an interesting experience, I would not choose to return.

Just a stone's throw from Raekoja Plats, MARGO Cafe is a hidden gem. The ambiance is somewhat romantic, filled with charm and personality. Even though the cuisine may be a bit on the pricier side, their beverages are reasonably priced. If you are seeking a tranquil spot for an evening coffee or cocktail in the heart of Old Town, this would be a top recommendation.
