I am extremely let down and upset by the cunning methods used at the entrance of this club. The doorman came up to my friend and I, asking if we planned to drink or dance. When we answered both, we were each hit with a $20 charge, making it $40 just for the two of us to get in. This felt like an outright con job. Be cautious of vague questions at the door, as they seem aimed at squeezing more money out of customers. I would strongly recommend not backing a business that partakes in such deceitful practices.

The doorman tried to trick us into paying extra for entry. The manager seems unable to read the notices posted on the door. The doorman claimed that the door notice was outdated and that the cover charge is always $20. When we raised this concern, the security officer questioned our ability to speak English and wondered how we missed a $30 discrepancy in the cover charge. The staff members are incredibly disrespectful and patronizing.

I just walked into Roxxannes. I declined a dance because I was just there for the drinks. But then, out of nowhere, a security guard comes up and starts telling me I can’t stay if I don’t want a dance.
