Okay, first thing's first ... what is a brothel?
There is a good chance that you have heard the word "brothel" tossed around at some point in your life. Maybe you've had a friend who took a trip to Amsterdam and spent some time in its world-renowned Red Light district, where he spent a few fantastic hours in a brothel and then told you all about it when he got back. Maybe you've only heard the term before on television or in the movies. Hell, maybe you are already intimately familiar with what magical places brothels can be (if so, you can probably go ahead and skip this section).
Whatever the case may be, I can promise you this: you are going to walk away from this article knowing everything there is to know about brothels, sex workers, legal prostitution, call girls, and everything else that comes along with it. Allow this piece of writing (along with my list of the best brothel sites on the web) to be the one and only resource you will ever need when it comes to figuring out what brothels are, how they operate, what to expect at a legal brothel, prostitution etiquette, and how to treat sex workers.
Class is in session, fellow would-be Johns!
Let's start by covering the basics. So, what is a brothel? Well, it's quite simple, really. A brothel (sometimes alternately referred to as a ranch, bordello, or whore house) is a place of business in which customers come to have sex with (or engage in any manner of sexual or intimate behavior) with prostitutes. In the most technical sense, any place where prostitution occurs can be considered a brothel. That is really all there is to it! Easy, right?
In some places, either for cultural or legal reasons, a brothel may advertise itself as something else. This is why you may occasionally happen upon a 'massage parlor,' 'studio,' 'bar,' or 'strip club' that is, in fact, a brothel. These, however, can be very difficult to track down (you almost always have to have an in with somebody who is trusted at the establishment), but these are not the kinds of brothels that we are going to be discussing here. The only brothels that I'm concerned about (and that I feel comfortable condoning) are legal brothels. Trust me, everybody involved is much better off that way.
In fact, I feel quite strongly about the use of legal brothels -- that is one of the main reasons that I made this list of the best legal brothels in the world, to begin with. I think that it is important to give people legal, safer, and more professional options when it comes time to find a brothel. There are countless upstanding brothels out there ... they should be easy to find and learn about!
Are there any legal brothels where I live?
Well, I wish that I could answer this question for you with certainty. However, there is one small problem: I have no idea who you are or where you live. So, unfortunately, I cannot tell you whether prostitution is legal in your country and/or state or province.
I can tell you, though, that prostitution is legal in more countries than you may initially assume. It is legal, for instance, throughout most of Europe (at least to some degree). In the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Ireland, and Norway, sex work is legal with limitations ... but in countries like Germany, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Denmark, Switzerland, and, of course, Netherlands (just to name a few), brothels are 100% legal and often taxed.
What about Las Vegas? I heard that brothels are legal in certain cities in the US ... Is this true?
The United States is in a bit of a unique predicament in regards to brothels and legal prostitution. In the overwhelming majority of US states, prostitution is highly illegal; in fact, the sex industry as a whole is stigmatized, taboo, and shunned quite openly in America. To be more specific, Nevada is the only state in which prostitution is legal, and only in some rural counties that are located on the outskirts of the state's larger cities like Reno and, of course, Las Vegas.
A lot of people assume that Nevada's legal sex industry is booming and all above board all of the time. This is, however, far from the truth. When it comes to Nevada, if you are caught in a brothel in a place like Las Vegas or Carson City, you could face jail time.
The same is true if you are a sex worker in Las Vegas (and every urban area in Nevada). Punishments can be quite harsh for prostitutes and Johns alike in a place like Las Vegas or Carson City. So, if you do decide to check out Nevada's brothel scene, do me a favor and be very careful about knowing what county you are in! Nevada's legal prostitution is extremely limited and restricted. And cops in cities like Las Vegas and Carson City frequently conduct sting operations that result in many arrests each year.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to ensure that you do your homework on whether brothels and prostitution are legal where you live (or where you are visiting) before you offer to exchange money for sex. Not only can this be a dangerous game for you to play, but illegal brothels are also often dark, malicious, and violent enterprises. It's best for everyone that they remain avoided at all costs.
Are sex workers all healthy and clean?
Naturally, I cannot speak for every sex worker in the world, but the women do tend to be (in my experience, at least) healthy, clean, and classy ... not to mention drop-dead gorgeous. Of course, as is the case with everything, I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions to the rule. But every brothel that I've patronized has been upstanding, professional, and very sanitary. In fact, any brothel worth visiting makes this priority number one, and any city that allows brothels to exist has standards and sanitation requirements that must be met.
As for the women, well, again, it all depends on the brothel. As long as you choose your ranch brothel from my list, however, you shouldn't have a problem. I have gone to great lengths to try and compile this list of only the best of the best.
You can also rest easy knowing that the women are regularly tested for STDs. Again, in many places around the world, this is a legal requirement for brothel workers. Most brothel owners, too, will have a policy in place which requires clients to wear condoms. This may also be at the discretion of the women, though, in some places.
Are the overall quality of a brothel and the sex workers therein bound to vary from one city to the next? ... Almost certainly. That being said, though, both brothel owners and the women they employ are trying to run a legitimate business. Just like in any other industry, business in the sex worker industry is fiercely competitive. Therefore, brothels and women have a vested interest in providing their clients with as close to a flawless experience as possible.
Are brothels still in business throughout the COVID 19 crisis?
One less frequently discussed effect of the COVID 19 pandemic has been the closure of brothels around the world. When there is a deadly virus going around that can be transmitted by simply breathing on somebody, it seems like a no-brainer that no brothel would be allowed to operate -- at least at the height of the pandemic.
As countries have begun to recover, though, and the curve has begun to flatten, restrictions on all industries have begun to be lifted (at least a little bit). Germany, for example, just recently announced that they would allow brothels to reopen (with heightened sanitation protocols and certain restrictions) even though the COVID 19 pandemic still is not over yet.
The same is true of Amsterdam's famed red-light district. In the Netherlands, COVID 19 has really only changed what you are allowed to do with women in a brothel. You can still engage in sexual activity during COVID 19 there, the only difference is that you are not allowed to kiss.
Since America has yet to be able to fully get their COVID 19 problem under control, though, Nevada's legal sex work industry has been on ice for over a year now.
Will the way in which sex workers and ranch brothels operate be different from here on out in a post-COVID 19 world? Honestly, it's hard to say. One thing that does seem fairly clear, though, is that things are going to be pretty weird and modified for the foreseeable future.
That being said, though, I can guarantee you that every single ranch and brothel in the world is going to be cleaner than ever before right now. If you are fully vaccinated, it might just be worth taking a visit (I bet you'll even be able to find some deep discount rates right now, too!).
Do brothels have any age restrictions that I should be aware of?
I hope that it goes without saying, but you have to be 18 years old, at the very least, in order to enter a brothel. The same is true, of course, for the sex workers whom they employ. This is not always the case, though, sometimes the age restrictions for brothels are even higher, depending on your country. 21 years old, though, is the oldest age restriction that I have seen for a brothel.
I don't think there are any maximum age limitations that you'll have to be concerned about. But if you need a lot of medical assistance, I wouldn't recommend going to a brothel. Most of them are not wheelchair accessible anyway, as far as I know.
How much money should I expect to pay when visiting a brothel?
As you would probably expect, every sex worker offers different pricing. Much like escorts, brothel sex workers tend to charge by the hour. Depending on where you are, as well as the quality of the ranch, brothel, or "house," clients can typically expect to pay anywhere between $250 and $500 per hour. Prices are also adjusted by the breadth of services offered (each sex worker has her own list of what she is and is not comfortable doing).
There also may or may not be an entry fee that must be paid in order to be admitted into the brothel or ranch, to begin with. In my experience, admission fees are not extremely common, but they do exist -- especially in the ritziest, highest-class establishments in the city. If you are a high roller like that, though, then the money is probably of no concern to you. The women in these fine establishments can also charge exponentially higher prices for their services. $1,000 or more per hour (plus entrance fee, of course) is not at all unheard of.
Some brothels also have bars and offer other services, too. Some double as a strip club. I always do a good deal of research on a new ranch before I go visit, see everything that they have to offer. And I bring enough money to accommodate what I want. Most ranch or club websites that are worth visiting will have a site offering plenty of photos, information, and pricing so that you don't have to go on too deep of a Google search to figure out what your trip will cost, roughly.
What are the benefits of visiting a brothel, as opposed to calling an escort?
I think that many of the benefits are pretty clear-cut, right? People visit brothels because they need to feel good, they provide a release, they fulfill primordial and pressing needs that are crucial to our well-being. It's no coincidence that sex work is the oldest industry of them all!
Why, then, should you go to a ranch and not just call an escort to come over to your house? Well, for one thing, many of us have families. It is not always feasible, and in many cases, it just isn't possible. A ranch provides a safe, clean, and secure environment in which you can do your thing. They provide an escape from your everyday life. When a ranch is really doing its job right, it should feel like a foray into a euphoric Eden of pleasure, a world apart from your own.
A ranch also offers a certain level of quality assurance that is a lot harder to attain with an escort. Escorts are, oftentimes, independent workers. They don't have to answer to anybody, there is nobody holding them accountable. When you put a group of professional women into one house together, though, and they each want to be the best service provider in the ranch to make the most money, well, it's a different story. Plus, as I said before, every ranch owner wants to outdo the competition, therefore every ranch owner will go out of his (or her) way to ensure that his clients are satisfied.
How should I act once I am in the brothel? Is there really such a thing as ranch etiquette?
Absolutely, there is such a thing as ranch etiquette. There are a few specifics that I can go over in a moment, but it really just amounts to not being a jerk. Even though a ranch may seem like a very different place than anywhere else in the world, it is still made up of people who have feelings and desires just like you. Just be a decent person and you shouldn't have any trouble whatsoever at a ranch.
To get a little more specific, the women do not typically like it when clients show up sloppily drunk. Even though your ranch of choice may serve alcohol, do yourself and your madam a favor, and don't get wasted before your appointment, ok? Oh, and definitely make sure that you are showered and at least somewhat decently put together when you show up. Just like you don't want a sex worker who isn't clean, she won't want you either if you're dirty.
At the end of the day, though, the most important rule to always follow at any ranch, with any sex worker, independent or otherwise, no matter where you are or what kind of services you are purchasing is this: always treat the workers with respect. Be kind to the women. They are dedicating themselves, after all, to an industry that exists solely to give you pleasure.
Do not be rude. Respect her boundaries. Absolutely don't ever get violent (unfortunate that I even have to add that to the list). It couldn't hurt, even, to maybe try and be a good lover. Impress her, make her moan, make her excited to see you again the next time you come in. Make her feel good and I guarantee you that it will be repaid.
Okay, I think I'm ready ... What is the best brothel in my city?
I won't be able to tell you which ranch is the best in your city, but my list of the best brothels in the world will definitely be of assistance. Just plug in your location and take a look at the reviews. My hope is that you will be knocking boots with a beautiful woman near you by the end of the day!
Brothels are a great deal of fun, and I am excited for you as you begin your journey into the world of ranches, brothels, bordellos, and the sex industry as a whole. I truly hope that you have found this brief overview of brothels to be informative (and maybe even a little bit entertaining).
Now, it is time for you to go forth and find the best brothel in your county, city -- or perhaps even country! -- and allow yourself to let go of all your worries and just feel the simple, carnal pleasures that await you.
