The spot can be hit or miss, with customer service being less than ideal depending on who greets you at the entrance.
The clientele is fantastic, they really bring life to the place.
The restrooms could use a contemporary revamp to pull them forward from the 70s.

My significant other and I attended the couples night at Aarows Gay Sauna & Spa Parramatta on 12/04/25. It was, as usual, a fantastic experience. The staff are incredible and always ready to assist, creating a comfortable and pressure-free atmosphere. There were some amazing couples there too. The event hosts really do a great job in ensuring this event is worth attending. Well done!

The place is tucked away in a suburbia car yard/industrial street, with a broad driveway leading to the rear. There is an immediate issue of privacy.
Also, it has a backdrop of bushland and a creek, which casts a gloomy ambiance right from the start. You enter through a narrow, prison-like gated area where you are expected to pay for a locker, something that no other sauna in Sydney requires. The customer service is probably the worst, indicating a lack of social skills and understanding of diverse cultural, personal, and sexual sensitivities. The locker area is located near the steam room, spa area, and open showers and leaks towards the changing area. The lockers are old and the atmosphere feels like it is stuck in the 90s. The floors carry various odors and the cleanliness is below average. The toilets are disgusting.
UPDATE 14/04/25. The owner of this establishment has responded with outright lies, fabricating a story to defame someone who gave a fair review of this place. If you read through the reviews, it is clear that this owner habitually tries to make up non-existent behavior against the person writing a review. Instead of accepting feedback, you have sunk to a despicable low against innocent people.

The management was extremely discourteous. I had been used to receiving a discount on entry and when I asked about getting the usual reduced price, the "boss" on duty began a rant of insults. He simply needed to kindly inform me that I was no longer eligible for the lower admission and I would have gladly paid the full price. Instead, he got highly aggressive and stated that if I did not pay immediately, I would be thrown out onto the street. After visiting at least twice a month for a while, I regret to say they have lost my business forever. Proceed with caution folks!

My significant other and I had the pleasure of attending the couples night at Aarows on the 12th of April, 2025. The two hosts were incredibly welcoming, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure the event, like all others they host, was enjoyable and thrilling.

They have a strict no substance use policy which is strictly adhered to, making it a safe and unpressured environment where individuals can choose to participate or not.

We have visited Aarows several times and have noticed a significant improvement in the venue from where it used to be. Even when wandering around, if you express disinterest, people respect your decision and give you space.

The staff at Aarows are exceptionally friendly, they recognize their regular visitors and do everything they can to ensure their safety and comfort.
